The Silvador Climate Action project is a grouped Improved Forest Management (IFM) initiative implemented under the VM0012 methodology framework. Located on the foothills of the Carpathian Mountain range in Romania, the project covers approximately 1,538 hectares of forestland grouped amongst a single ownership. The project will likely expand in the future and add more properties to the crediting area. Silvador Company SRL (Silvador), the project proponent, was established in 1999 and partnered with GreenRaise Consulting GmBH (GreenRaise), the project developer, to implement the project starting in August 2020. The project has a crediting period of 40 years, which can be extended up to 100 years.
